Thank you for the lovely stay at the Secret Garden Cottage. The house was very well-equipped. We enjoyed eating on the deck, wine in the garden, and cooking in the kitchen. We slept well and had a great R&R break, and enjoyed wine country on the other side of the country.

Let me start by saying we will be back! And hopefully often. My husband and I had a wonderful 3 days in your cozy, thoughtfully appointed home. A truly relaxing getaway – worth the drive from Boston! All of your recommendations were spot on. When we weren’t reading by the fire, we were eating delicious meals (loved Treadwell and Oliv!), and tasting yummy wines. Even in winter, NOTL is a treat. Thank you for your attention to detail, ease of booking and warm, comfortable home. Can’t wait to come in spring or summer to see the garden in full bloom!

What a wonderful space you have created where we were able to put life on hold for just a few days. The cottage had absolutely everything we could have needed. It was lovely to wander through the streets of NOTL and catch a glimpse of why may be in store over the summer. With the sun out now, I can only imagine what will be in store for your Secret Garden. Can’t wait to return and see it in full bloom.

When you enter the Secret Garden, you immediately feel at home. The place is spotless and tastefully decorated. The kitchen feels huge, with tons of counter space. There are plenty of cupboards and even a pantry. The dishwasher, sink and fridge layout make it easy to cook and clean up. The dining room easily seats four or more. The family room has a large screen TV and there is a lovely separate music room to read quietly (or play the piano!) if you're not into TV. Upstairs, there are two comfortable bedrooms, one of which includes a generous sitting area. The upstairs bathroom is modern and spacious without being stark. The sinks, toilets and shower work efficiently with plenty of water pressure. There are so many thoughtful touches that go above and beyond the usual; the tea selection, the salad oils, the games and puzzles, the books for every reading preference, the lotions and soaps in the bathrooms, to name just a few. The location is very convenient for both wine tasting tours and short trips into town, without being noisy. Our next visit will definitely be in the spring or summer so we can enjoy the huge back (secret) garden that goes on for miles! Thanks for a great stay!
